Support Group for Parent Carers of (SEND) Children & Adults Under 25

Our Parent Carer Support Group is a welcoming space for parents and carers of children and young people under the age of 25 with special educational needs and disabilities. The group offers a chance to connect with others who understand the realities of caring for a young person.

Parent carers often tell us they feel they have to stay strong all the time. This group is a place where you can take a breath, let your guard down, and talk openly with others who are walking a similar path. It’s a supportive and understanding environment where you can share experiences, listen to others, and know you’re not alone.

The sessions provide emotional support from other parent carers, a safe space to talk about worries, challenges and small wins, as well as helpful information about local services and support available to you and your family.

Whether you’d like to chat, listen, or simply spend time with people who understand, you’ll be very welcome.
