Neurodiversity Carers Group

10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Bradbury Centre, 46 Humberstone Gate, Leicester LE1 3PJ
Event Details:

Caring for someone who is neurodiverse can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also come with challenges that others don’t always see or understand. From navigating schools, services and healthcare, to managing sensory needs, routines, and daily stresses, it can sometimes feel like you’re carrying a lot on your own.

Our Neurodiversity Carers Group, hosted by the Leicester Carers Support Service, offers a welcoming space where you can connect with other carers who understand these experiences. The group meets on the second Thursday of each month from 10:00 – 12:00 at the Bradbury Centre.

It’s a relaxed and supportive environment where you can talk openly about the realities of caring, share advice and small wins, or simply listen and know you’re not alone. Many carers find it helpful to speak with others who understand the ups and downs of supporting someone who may experience the world differently.
