If you’d rather talk to someone face to face, you’re welcome to visit our Carers Hub in the Bradbury Centre. It’s the glass building at the front of Clarence House on Humberstone Gate, offering a calm, friendly space where you can sit down, have a conversation, and take things at your own pace.
The Bradbury Centre is open Monday to Wednesday from 9.30am – 3.30pm.*
*When the Bradbury Centre is closed you can still access 1-2-1 support at our Carers Support Office inside the main Clarence House building Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4 pm
You might also find it helpful to know that Clarence House is home to a range of other Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland services that may be of interest while you’re visiting Leicester Carers Support Service. These include a variety of social and wellbeing activities such as a knitting group, line dancing, karate and tai chi, offering gentle ways to stay active and connect with others.
There are also digital drop in sessions, where friendly advisers can help you feel more confident using mobile phones, iPads and laptops. They can support you to get online, stay in touch with family and friends, and use healthcare apps.
A footcare service also runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which are the same days as our Carers Cafés. On site you’ll also find Seasons Café, offering a range of hot and cold food and drinks, and a calm, welcoming space to relax before or after your visit.
